We all know some of the hard to find cartridges & others have leakage and some split necks.
Kind of common with some on W.R.A.CO. Cartridges.
What I do for cartridges with Split necks and others that have leakage to stop and seal the corrosion is
to clean the area good with acetone and let it dry a few minutes, then take some Quick Drying Glue
( Hot Stuff etc ) put a dab on the bad areas. It seals it and the cartridge will last a lot longer.
Good for those hard to find Cartridges until something better comes along.

that was loaded in a WRACo. .32 S.& W. LONG (H.P. White # 3816). Recently I found one
and added it to my collection. Several collectors were skeptical of this loading because
it was a U.M.C. project. Below is an insert from the Winchester factory records that Dan Shuey
sent me: " Note #3: Owing to the demand, Change in mfg. #491, March 12, 1910 was issued authorizing the mfg. of .38 S.& W. Black & Smkls. Spl. ctges. loaded with .38 S.& W. Spl. Auto LUBRICATING bullets. Later Mr. Starkweather's letter of July 15, 1912, These ctges. and bullets
were made obsolete because we had little or no call for them."
No wonder they are hard to find with only a two year span. And how many were actually made? I've seen several U.M.C. with this bullet. Mike
